When Wellness Becomes Another Source Of Pressure - 292
We spend so much time trying to fix ourselves–changing how we look, buying products, following wellness trends, taking supplements, and searching for the next solution. But what if our bodies are far more intelligent than we give them credit for?
In this episode, I’m joined by Warren Phillips, the Non-Toxic Dad, for a conversation that goes deeper than toxins in food, clothing, and homes. We explore the connection between physical toxicity and the beliefs that can disconnect us from who we are. Because whether it’s a chemical toxin or a belief that tells us we aren’t enough, the result can be the same.
Warren shares his journey of becoming sick through environmental exposure and then spending years studying detoxification, eventually helping others reconnect with their biology.
Our conversation takes the idea of the “corset” beyond appearance. We talk about the cultural conditioning, beauty standards, products, relationships, and beliefs that can disconnect us from our bodies and our sense of self.
Creating a healthier environment doesn't mean you have to change everything overnight. Start with one percent, listen to your body, and continue building your own blueprint for the healthiest version of you.
Conclusion:
Becoming healthier is about reconnecting–with our bodies, with nature, with our intuition. And reconnecting with the woman we actually are underneath all the expectations about who we're supposed to be. Remember, your body is not your enemy. You are not broken. Your crown is not broken. Sometimes you just need to stop fighting your biology and start working with it.

[00:00:00] Warren Phillips: And I watch my daughter as a homeschooler walking into a public arena with all these girls that have so many corsets on, and she's excited about the corset. She sees the corset, but then she also says, "Wow, that's really weird. That corset's toxic. Wow, this girl's only 20 years old and she's already doing Botox."
[00:00:16] Warren Phillips: She's like, "Dad, is that healthy?" And she's seeing all that, and it's very weird to her, but that's the normal, and that's a disembodied way. We wanna reconnect people, no matter where you're at. Like, if you're doing those things, I'm not judging you because I did those things.
[00:00:29] Carrie Lupoli: Well, hey there, crown straighteners.
[00:00:31] Carrie Lupoli: Whatever's tightening your corset today, welcome. You're in the right place. Today, we're doing something a little different here. You know this guy. I know you do because you, you probably follow him. He's got 1.3 million followers, and he is just absolutely incredible. But his Instagram feed kinda stresses me out sometimes.
[00:00:49] Carrie Lupoli: I'm talking about The Non-Toxic Dad, Warren Phillips, and he just drops truth bombs on toxins that are hiding in our food, our clothes, our cleaning products, like, literally [00:01:00] everything. But what you don't usually get on his feed is the deeper message underneath all of it. So Warren and I sat down and realized something: we're both talking about the same corset.
[00:01:11] Carrie Lupoli: He calls it toxicity, I call it pressure. It's the same mask, different language. We get super deep because whether it's the chemicals quietly disrupting your hormones or the belief systems quietly disrupting your worth, he is an expert on all of this, although he'll tell you that he knows nothing and he's still learning every single day.
[00:01:30] Carrie Lupoli: But realizing it's all about disconnection, a disconnection from your body, from nature, from who you actually are. So today, a man is stepping into the crown conversation, and trust me, it fits him, too. Let's get into it.
[00:01:49] Carrie Lupoli: Well, let's start straightening our own crowns over here, if you don't mind. And we are gonna do that with one of my favorite people. You [00:02:00] probably follow him. This is The Non-Toxic Dad, everybody, Warren Phillips. I have followed you for such a long time, and I'm so glad now that I can call you a friend, and that you are here to be able to teach us all your incredible knowledge about non-toxic living, but also your message is even deeper and deeper and deeper than that.
[00:02:20] Carrie Lupoli: So welcome to From Corset to Crown.
[00:02:23] Warren Phillips: Yeah. It's wonderful, Keri, to... You're, you speak so highly of your audience and individuals and the lives you get to touch, and help them blossom, transform, cocoon into their, and to become who they were meant to be. And that's honestly the crux of my message as well. We have different media, different avenues of how we got here, but really we want that reconnection.
[00:02:44] Warren Phillips: We want people reconnecting to themselves. And what we'll talk about today is disconnecting them from toxicity and reconnecting them to their biology. And the toxicity, you talk about it a lot, of the toxicity of their mental state and how that disconnects us from bi- [00:03:00] our biology, how we disembody and, and, and actually we're not who we were really truly meant to be.
[00:03:06] Warren Phillips: But when we come back into forgiveness, come back into reconnection with ourselves, with God, with nature, we realign, we rebloom, our aura kicks up to another level, and we b- we start walking in that power again. And that's what we want everyone to walk in today. I love it, you know? Your message is clear.
[00:03:24] Warren Phillips: Here we go.
[00:03:26] Carrie Lupoli: I mean, and that, when you and I first met, it was like, I, I think we could have talked forever, and we recorded I think like a two-and-a-half-hour podcast at your studio. And your, like when... I, I mean, I followed you on Instagram for such a long time, and I always like look forward to, although also sometimes your posts stress me out.
[00:03:42] Carrie Lupoli: Mm-hmm. I'm gonna tell you that right now. But I always look forward to it. But when you and I had our conversation, I realized, holy cow, like your message, the way w- everything that you stand for is, is so deep, so aligned, and so synergistic in so many ways. So tell us, for people that don't know you, people that follow you, you have [00:04:00] like 1.3 million followers on Instagram, like who are you?
[00:04:05] Carrie Lupoli: Who is Warren Phillips, and w- how do you know all this stuff about toxicity?
[00:04:09] Warren Phillips: Yeah. I got sick. Before it was cool to talk about toxins, I was doing it just to survive. I had the, you know, Warren approved stamp from my friends 18 years ago, trained practitioners for 18 years on detoxification, and I've changed a lot over the years on how I believe we should reconnect, um, to our biology.
[00:04:29] Warren Phillips: And we can get into that today, but I got sick cleaning up hazardous waste as an environmental consultant, went to all the medical professionals, and of course they didn't have answers for me. Mm. Like so many, right? And it's not that they're bad people, they just didn't understand to date the, the real answer to health.
[00:04:46] Warren Phillips: It isn't pharmaceutical drugs. I think we all know that at this point. That whole healthcare system is burning down, right? Yeah. It, it's-
[00:04:53] Carrie Lupoli: Thank God ...
[00:04:53] Warren Phillips: it's petroleum-based, it's on money, and it is what it is. Like, I'm not even mad about it. Like, I'm, I'm excited- Right ... to talk to the [00:05:00] folks that are cocooning, that do want to fully become themselves and understand that the financial system, the medical system, the farming system, it's completely disconnected from humanity, our biology.
[00:05:13] Warren Phillips: We are not these cockroaches on Planet Earth. Actually, done correctly, we are a keystone species that bring about more life, more diversity, and more solutions. We become more beautiful. We cocoon into these beautiful humans that are reconnected, and we've just disconnected. So I disconnected my body through toxicity, through bad thoughts, through over-religiosity, and I was disconnected from who I was as a human.
[00:05:39] Warren Phillips: I was disconnected at some level from God. I was disconnected definitely from my biology. My gut microbiome was disconnected. The very thing that protects me-
[00:05:49] Carrie Lupoli: Mm-hmm ...
[00:05:49] Warren Phillips: from the outside world, consumption, the things that I'm eating, was broken. Those toxins leaking into my body, filling up my cells, which is actually a good thing, because your body never makes [00:06:00] mistakes.
[00:06:00] Warren Phillips: It's always doing the right thing, and we need to start trusting our bodies again. We don't need all these outside interventions to fix us. Now, in, in an emergency, you may need a medication. In an emergency, you may need a peptide, some of those things. But ultimately, you need none of it. You have the greatest healing capacity innate within you, and it's not broken.
[00:06:21] Warren Phillips: The people watching this aren't broken. Your crown's not broken. It's beautiful. We just need to remember how connected we are to each other, how connected we are to our biology. Remove those things, those belief structures of how we should look like, those belief structures which you talk so much to, those belief structures that we're sick and we're never gonna be well, right?
[00:06:39] Carrie Lupoli: Yes. Yes.
[00:06:40] Warren Phillips: The, the relationships that we're in that are disconnecting us from who we are. So ultimately, I was that guy making all those mistakes, shoot, 20-some years ago, and then- Just like everybody else, I'm walking this journey, learning more every day. I don't know anything, right? Because I'm always learning, I'm always changing, I'm ever- I'm always growing.
[00:06:58] Warren Phillips: I'm not the same person I [00:07:00] was yesterday, and I hope by the end of this podcast we're not the same together as we exchange energy, and here we are.
[00:07:06] Carrie Lupoli: I love that so much. And, you know, one of the things that is just screaming out to me as you're talking is the life you were living before and, and literally all the actual physical toxins that were in your body, not including the mindset stuff and all of the pieces that go into our mental health and the toxicity that kind of the cultural conditioning brings into us.
[00:07:29] Carrie Lupoli: But it's a perfect example of how so many times people think I'm just speaking to women, right? Because that seems to be the brand that I speak to the most. But when you and I met, you were like, "Holy cow, like, I've got the corset on, too." And it's- Absolutely. Yeah ... while you had the corset on 20-some-odd years ago as you worked to get healthy, I think the act of recognizing that corset and why we do what we do is a daily thing that we have to do to get centered with ourselves, understand who we are, whose we are, and why we want what we say we want.
[00:07:59] Warren Phillips: Yeah. Well, [00:08:00] toxicity, I know that my videos... And, and I believe in all those videos. Everything I'm sharing is true, right? If you're wearing microplastic clothing, it does have hormone-disrupting compounds in it. It can embed microplastics into you. It can put these hormone disruptors inside of you, and it gets so overwhelming.
[00:08:14] Warren Phillips: But you are strong, right? If, if we're not overwhelmed with this toxicity and we slowly start making decisions over the next month, the next year, over the next five years, your body is so intelligent, it will still, it, it will rebalance. It will start having more repair than injury from these toxins, and it'll actually start, at some point, once that bucket is lowered enough, you'll s- get stronger through the- Yes
[00:08:39] Warren Phillips: process of hormesis. Your biology, your microbiology, your cellular energy, your genetics, it, they're so adaptive. Like, if I move from Utah to the ocean, my microbiology will completely shift to match that environment. We will shift and become better. Our bodies are always protecting and always know what, ba- it always knows the right thing to [00:09:00] do.
[00:09:00] Warren Phillips: I love that. And, you know, in the past, we were like, "Oh, we need to, uh, prepare your liver with all these antioxidants in your kidneys, and take all these supplements and antioxidants." I've
[00:09:10] Carrie Lupoli: always said this. What I've
[00:09:10] Warren Phillips: found over the years, it actually causes symptoms. Yeah. Your body's storing these toxins, and so let's go in and stir this stuff all up, when your body's doing the right thing by putting them away.
[00:09:20] Warren Phillips: So we need to support the body slowly and naturally. Of course, I love binders because they don't stir things up. And if it didn't work, and if it didn't work with our biology, and if it wasn't congruent with what I'm sharing, then I, then I wouldn't do it.
[00:09:33] Carrie Lupoli: Right.
[00:09:34] Warren Phillips: But I do like true binders because it helps offset, because it's not stirring up.
[00:09:38] Warren Phillips: It's only pulling out. And
[00:09:40] Carrie Lupoli: not only that- So tell, tell people what you mean by that. When you say true binders, what do you mean by that?
[00:09:44] Warren Phillips: Things that, you know, there's a lot of words on binders. So if you say fulvic and humic acids, th- they do have some binding capacity for something like glyphosate, but they can stir things up for something like heavy metals.
[00:09:56] Carrie Lupoli: Yes.
[00:09:57] Warren Phillips: other toxins, right, in, in your body, and they [00:10:00] don't bind the toxic biocomplex very well, so they're not a really good gut binder. They're good for redox reactions. They're good for giving minerals. That's why you need to make sure you get a clean one. And that says, "Oh, it's bound. The heavy metals in here are bound."
[00:10:12] Warren Phillips: They're not. It's part of the exchange through the, the fulvic and humic acid complex, where they can donate these minerals. That's why they put them in a lot of mineral products. I don't wanna go way down that road. Yeah. But binders are really important to remove toxicity so that we can reconnect to our biology and start expressing health.
[00:10:31] Warren Phillips: We can lower that load, and then our body kinda knows what it's doing once we start creating these really good habits of eating from nature, going to farmers markets. And in that process, we're actually creating relationships that are healthy with people that, that shine at a, at a different frequency.
[00:10:47] Warren Phillips: There's no... There's nothing wrong with who you're hanging out with, but if you wanna transform, you really wanna start hanging out with people that, that respect nature, that respect you, that aren't telling you you need to be a certain way or have all this [00:11:00] makeup and all this stuff that's toxic to your body.
[00:11:02] Warren Phillips: That's disconnection, guys. And I don't say that, and it's one of the hardest things. That's why I don't share it online. If I say, "Hey, I'm starting to wear a corset because I'm a white male and I'm watching all these other white males that are ripped on TRT," and I'm like, "Dang, I wish I looked like them," and I'm like- Right
[00:11:18] Warren Phillips: "Man, I mean, that's a shame." And then women, oh my gosh, you've been dealing with this for years that- Mm-hmm ... that you're using Botox and all this stuff, and guys are now doing it and- Mm-hmm ... and it's being okay even in the health space. I'm like, "Oh man, it really shouldn't be that way." Like, we just need to, you know, be comfortable in our own skin and see the beauty in who we are, and then I'll lose followers just by saying that, because we're so...
[00:11:39] Warren Phillips: We get so connected to beauty. When beauty- Yeah ... it is, really is from within. It is something that you feel. You just know. Mm-hmm. Yep. Beauty isn't outside. You know beauty. You feel it. You own it, right? It, it's not a crown you have to put on your head. It's a crown that's in your heart. Yes. And you can experience it, and you just have to get there, and I think the best way to get there is to [00:12:00] get quiet and know that we're connected, know that the God of this universe loves you.
[00:12:04] Warren Phillips: And so eventually you start peeling off the, the masks that we put on, that we... To make ourselves feel connected. And I watch my daughter as a homeschooler walking into a, a public arena with all these girls that have so many corsets on. And, and it's... And she wants... And she's excited about the corset. She sees the corset, but then she also says "Wow, that's really weird.
[00:12:26] Warren Phillips: That corset's toxic. Wow, this girl's only 20 years old and she's already doing Botox." It's like, "Dad, is that healthy?"
[00:12:32] Carrie Lupoli: Right. And,
[00:12:33] Warren Phillips: you know, is, is this happening? And they're eating this, and they're doing that, but then they're doing this, and she's seeing all that, and it's very weird to her, but that's the normal.
[00:12:43] Warren Phillips: And that's a disembodied way. We wanna reconnect people, no matter where you're at. Like, if you're doing those things, I'm not judging you because I did those things. I desire those things. Because it's out there, it's temptation, but the strength that we have internally not to choose those toxicities to [00:13:00] alter our bodies to fit in, man, we already fit in, right?
[00:13:04] Warren Phillips: We already... If you can feel that you're completely already fitting in, and then if you choose to do something, you're not choosing it because you need to do it, you're just choosing to do it. Like- Yeah ... if you're 85 years old and you always wanted a facelift, go for it, right? Right. But you're not doing it because you need to or you feel like you have to.
[00:13:24] Warren Phillips: You already know that you're a badass. You already know- Yes ... that you have the crown on your heart. You already know that you don't need anything, that you're fully connected to God and nature, but for some reason you always wanted to give it a try. You're still a beautiful person, but you didn't like this.
[00:13:39] Warren Phillips: Let's give it a try. Go for it. Like, it doesn't even seem like it makes sense, but when you know-
[00:13:45] Carrie Lupoli: No, but I think it's about- ... you
[00:13:46] Warren Phillips: can do what you wanna do. Go ahead.
[00:13:47] Carrie Lupoli: People can make the same decisions, and this is where I think even just in your content, but of your deeper content, this is why I love that we're having this conversation because you do talk so much, and teach so [00:14:00] incredibly well about the toxins in our actual physical environment.
[00:14:03] Carrie Lupoli: But you go down so much of, like, this next layer deeper of the toxins in our, in our hearts and in our minds when it comes to who we are, what we want, and why we want it. But what's so interesting is, like, we can be making the same decision But one person's making it from the corset and the other person's making it from the crown, and therefore the results are very different.
[00:14:25] Carrie Lupoli: When we look at Botox in that example for, or that, that, you know, craze for an example, we could look at the physical toxins that are going into our body, which is why I will never do it. But also, it's the reasons why we're doing it when it comes to feeling like our worth is fully in what we look like.
[00:14:46] Carrie Lupoli: And to your point, it's like when somebody is confident about who they are, to me they radiate, and no Botox can replace that. So it's almost like the things that are toxic in our environment, there's a parallel to them also being [00:15:00] toxic in our heart and our mindsets.
[00:15:01] Warren Phillips: Yeah. I mean, remember that kid in high school that wasn't the best looking, right?
[00:15:06] Warren Phillips: But there was something about their aura and energy that everyone loved them.
[00:15:09] Carrie Lupoli: Yes. And- I could actually picture him right now. I know his name, I know what he looks like, and I remember, I was s- I, I... The first time I ever saw him, I had moved, a new person, and I was like, like, he just didn't, he was like one of the most popular kids, but he wasn't very cute.
[00:15:22] Carrie Lupoli: And I remember this kid that, that you're talking about. Like, that's crazy. He just had amazing personality.
[00:15:28] Warren Phillips: And he knew who he was. He was confident. He would attract the girls because like me, I was a better looking kid in high school, but I had this low self-worth, this lower body image. I had a really big butt.
[00:15:38] Warren Phillips: I was a little bit chubby, you know? So I, and I, even when I dated the, the, the best looking girls or the class thing, I always felt less than. Can you believe that? That's right. Right? Here we are, the girl that got best looking the year before as a senior and I was dating her as a junior or, or a sophomore or whatever, I still thought I wasn't good-looking.
[00:15:56] Warren Phillips: I still thought I wasn't nice. I still thought I wasn't kind [00:16:00] because of these ideals that people placed on me, teachers, bullies, like all this stuff. So I had these belief structures, and man, it took me till I was in my late 40s to get rid of that. Can you believe that I walked that whole life with those belief structures that- I,
[00:16:15] Carrie Lupoli: I think we're all still walking it.
[00:16:17] Warren Phillips: Yeah. We always- In so many ways ... we don't know anything, and we're all cocooning each and every day, and we're- Yes ... we're turning into this beautiful butterfly. But can you believe like the major shifts, we have to wait all that time? And if it was, you know, non-toxic dad that was still figuring that out who is in this world, that means I'm in no different position than you.
[00:16:35] Warren Phillips: Just 'cause I'm here and you're here, Carrie, and there's these beautiful women mostly on this call, it's not like I'm saying like, "Hey, I got it all figured out." But I'll tell you for a fact, I will die On the fact that you're loved. I will die on the fact that there's a God of this universe that loves me.
[00:16:51] Warren Phillips: I will die on the fact that I'm beautiful, that I'm kind, that I'm a great dad, that I'm a great parent. Do I fail each and every day? Do I get into emotion because I get out of [00:17:00] balance with nature? Because I'm running a life that's not in balance because I'm not resting like the trees, I'm not resting like the kitty cat, I'm not taking examples of the world, and then so therefore I get out of balance, I get headaches, I get mean, I get short with my family, I'm not connecting with my children, I'm not being present, and that's just all because I'm choosing to work too much.
[00:17:23] Warren Phillips: But when I'm in balance, man, I mean, the things I can say to my children, the teaching I can do, how I can lead them and love them and experience that joy, and it, it is immense. But yet, even though I know that, I'm still a dummy. I'll still make those decisions. I'll think, I'll still get money worry. I'll still like, "Oh my gosh," like I'm doing this all for the right reasons and Carey, you're the same thing, you're putting on this event and you're doing all this stuff and you're doing it for the right reasons, but it's like, it's a financial hardship, right?
[00:17:51] Warren Phillips: When you're trying to do the right thing. But I promise you, when you do the right thing, Carey, myself, you listening, when you do the right thing long enough, it's just [00:18:00] like nature. You can't rebuild soil in a day. It takes years can't get well fast. It took years for you to get sick. It takes years to rebuild your cells as they die off through apoptosis till they re-heal, to your gut.
[00:18:13] Warren Phillips: Like, and now, you know, if you have an, a garden that was pesticide and glyphosate, it will take years for that microbiology to build. Yeah. So it takes years to rebuild your mindset. It takes years to rebuild your gut. It takes years to rebuild your life. So you have to be patient with yourself. That's right.
[00:18:29] Warren Phillips: You have to take time. And these quick fis- fixes- Yes ... are great as a, as a crutch sometimes, I would say. Yeah. But for those of you that are connected, and I, and I know that you hear me right now, because there's certain people that, that are at a place where what I'm saying is not offensive to them, right?
[00:18:45] Warren Phillips: Because some of you are hearing it, and you're a little bit offended by the things that I'm saying, and that's okay. Just don't be. I'm
[00:18:52] Carrie Lupoli: not- I always say, "Listen, I'm gonna be your friend that tells you what you need to hear-" Yeah ... not necessarily what you wanna hear." But listen be- And that's, people appreciate that
[00:18:57] Carrie Lupoli: listen between
[00:18:57] Warren Phillips: the words, right? Yeah. Listen between my words. [00:19:00] I love you, right? Even though I say dumb things, I love you. Like, I say dumb things to my children. I still love them. They still love me. But I might not say it perfectly, because this is thinking in English language, which is one of the weakest languages out there, so we can't say the right things.
[00:19:15] Warren Phillips: I'm not professionally taught to say the right things. I'm not a freaking politician. So I can talk around things. I'm-
[00:19:21] Carrie Lupoli: Who says nothing.
[00:19:22] Warren Phillips: Yeah. And say nothing. I'm just being me. Yeah. And I, hopefully that gives you permission to be you, because if you can be you and fully you and embody who you are, whatever it is, you're gonna live an fricking amazing life, and you'll start making decisions once you know.
[00:19:39] Warren Phillips: That's why the mindset stuff, you won't make excuses about your wardrobe and how much it costs you to put all that plastic into your wardrobe that's poisoning you and your family, and you'll be like, "You know what? I don't need any of that." Right. "And I'm slowly gonna get that out of my wardrobe-" Right
[00:19:54] Warren Phillips: "because I love who I am as a person. I don't need any of that. I'm still gonna keep it. I'm still gonna transition it out. [00:20:00] But eventually it's all gonna leave." But if you're not connected to who you are, you will make excuses all day long to keep your wardrobe or to keep your current, the way that you're eating.
[00:20:10] Carrie Lupoli: Keep your life in the way it
[00:20:11] Warren Phillips: is. With all this stuff. So w- where I'm saying this, because at a base level, when you, when you're connected and you know that you're healthy, you're whole, and that you're gonna heal over time, you'll start making decisions to increase that capacity. You'll start- Yes ... making decisions that will increase your energy, that will increase your mitochondrial function, that will increase your mental capacity by getting rid of these endocrine disruptors and hormone, uh, things that are dulling down your light, because you are a light being.
[00:20:37] Warren Phillips: You're full of magnetism and energy. Your heart is a magnetic energy-producing machine that's putting charges on your blood cells, that are pulling them through capillaries. And we can't even build a pump. As a matter of fact, your heart's not a pump. But it's way more than that. But you can't even build something today that can match the biology of this body.
[00:20:55] Warren Phillips: You are the most complex ecosystem on the planet. There's nothing more [00:21:00] complicated and beautiful than a human on this planet, more so- than y- the, the, a rainforest that we're like, "Oh my gosh, this rainforest is so complex and diverse." You are more complex and diverse than that. There's no mammal that's more complex and diverse as you.
[00:21:15] Warren Phillips: You are- Wow,
[00:21:15] Carrie Lupoli: I love that ...
[00:21:16] Warren Phillips: amazing. And once you get that, all these non-toxic things are a breeze, 'cause you'll see that and you go, "I can do that. I'll do that." Yeah. "I'm not worried about it. But yeah, I'm gonna start using loose leaf tea and it's no big deal 'cause I'll find time- Right ... to do it. Uh, I'll make it a habit."
[00:21:31] Carrie Lupoli: And, and slowly your ceiling becomes the next floor, and then that ceiling becomes the next floor, and that's how you continue to up level. When, when you and I were together in Utah on your podcast, I, I talked about, uh, the healthiest version of you blueprint. What does the healthiest version of you do, say, think, and believe as the North Star?
[00:21:49] Carrie Lupoli: And everything you're saying right now requires somebody to know what does the healthiest version of me do, and say, and think, and believe. And so you're [00:22:00] giving us so many different things. I keep telling my clients and my listeners, get that blueprint and you're continuously adding to it. It's not a document you just jump on once and then put it away.
[00:22:11] Carrie Lupoli: It's actually a living, breathing document that evolves over the years. I joke that when I first learned about blood sugar, like 15 years ago, I was like, "Okay, how can I balance my blood sugar and still go to Taco Bell?" Like, that was my vision of health. And now you would never find me driving through a Taco Bell no matter what.
[00:22:31] Carrie Lupoli: So as you, y- you started really kind of digging into our ecosystem and understanding this a little bit more, I am just fascinated by all of the things. I'd like to move a little bit into that physical toxicity as we build from the emotional stuff that we've all been dealing with as we put this into our blueprint.
[00:22:52] Carrie Lupoli: So give us some understandings, because I, I gotta be honest with you. Up until just even a, I don't know, a couple years ago, I [00:23:00] was thinking my Lululemons were high-end, expensive leggings, and now I'm like, oh my gosh. As I become the healthiest version of myself and I really look at what do I do, say, think, and believe, what is happening in my environment, the, the, the clothes I'm wearing, the, the cleaning products I have, the...
[00:23:21] Carrie Lupoli: all of the things- There, there's so many factors that are actually inhibiting my health that I don't even realize. So I'd love for us to tap into that, not to overwhelm people like you said, but once you know, you can do, and we can do better at 1% at a time. Like you said, it all takes time and patience, but if we don't really know, then we're gonna struggle to even make any of that progress, especially in this field that you're in.
[00:23:48] Carrie Lupoli: So help us to understand this so we can add it to our blueprint.
[00:23:51] Warren Phillips: Yeah, so that 1% better works really well, right? Because you're taking the pressure off, but you're still gonna take actionable steps each and every day, and it's gonna be fun because you [00:24:00] realize at a foundational level, a lot of the things that we're using in our food, our clothing, they're anti-life, right?
[00:24:07] Warren Phillips: They're an- they're anti-life. Anti, you know, uh, what is glyphosate? It's a registered antibiotic. It's anti-life. It's wiping out the soils. What are antibiotics? Anti-life. Um, what's getting in our grains? They're desiccating the grains for what? Production, more energy, more power, more greed, more stuff, right?
[00:24:25] Warren Phillips: And as we, we run this system that's dying, and that's why the regenerative farm movement is happening because people realize now if we don't change, we're gonna die as a species because this stuff, it's anti-life. That's all it is, right? And if money is connected to greed and lust and all that stuff, it's anti-life.
[00:24:43] Warren Phillips: It's not, it's not gonna last, so you don't have to even worry about it. But you, what you can worry about is, like, wow, what c- choices I can make that are truly pro-life to my body? So there's these... And that's where organic eating comes into play, right? And, and, and you can do simple things like [00:25:00] washing your fruits and vegetables, right?
[00:25:02] Carrie Lupoli: Heart- How do you, how do you wash them?
[00:25:03] Warren Phillips: There's a new comprehensive study that just came out in March 2026 and, and these are big for me because the pesticides, the herbicides, the thing you're putting in your body are wiping out your garden, your microbiome, and right? And so what happens when your microbiome at a base level and you put anti-life, uh, stuff inside of this, and you're eating bad proteins and you're eating the things that we're all afraid of, you know, inside of kale, like lectins and phytates, and so your body has to put out these proteins and things to, to nullify.
[00:25:35] Warren Phillips: And your, your body has all these systems. It's smart. It's been eating this stuff for, depending on your belief structure, thousands and thousands of years- Yep ... of just-
[00:25:42] Carrie Lupoli: Yep,
[00:25:42] Warren Phillips: yep ... doing that or, or, or more, right? Right. So this, these things happen naturally in your body, but when you're wiping out your biology, which is wiping out your gut lining because you're not producing the fats and anti-inflammatories and the epithelial lining, these things, these, these antibodies that are being projected, [00:26:00] you know, by your body to, to protect you, um, proteins, all this stuff leaks back into your body, and then you're, you're firing up autoimmune and firing up inflammation and pain.
[00:26:11] Warren Phillips: So when it comes to a, a simple blueprint, it's like, "Is this serving my biology or is it disconnecting me from my biology?" So that's where the... Remember I had the five things, and you're like, "Do you wanna talk about the five things?" I'm like-
[00:26:26] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah ... "
[00:26:26] Warren Phillips: Heck no," because it's, it's boring, it's, it's too complicated, but keep it simple, right?
[00:26:32] Warren Phillips: Yeah. If it's disconnecting you from biology, if it's a toxicity, no matter what it is, disconnecting you from biology, you want to avoid it over time. And you wanna make- But I think- ... choices that reconnect you to your biology.
[00:26:42] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah. So if you don't know already, From Corset to Crown is already a best-selling book, and it's not even out in stores yet.
[00:26:53] Carrie Lupoli: But I want you to have your hands on this, because this is going to be a toolbox for you, a reference book, and a [00:27:00] daily source of inspiration. It's going to teach you not only the last nutritional advice you will ever need, but it's going to teach you how in every single day life you can go from the corset to the crown.
[00:27:11] Carrie Lupoli: So if you pre-order today, you get all sorts of great things, including the e-book for free before we actually send you the actual book in October. You're also gonna get a 10-episode private podcast that I recorded only for people who pre-ordered the book, where you are going to be able to get a behind-the-scenes story and perspective of all the things that went into getting to the point where I was ready to write the book.
[00:27:39] Carrie Lupoli: This is a book I needed 15 years ago, and it's one that I continuously reference. And so not only will you get the private podcast, but I got a secret little gift for you within that, as well as a discussion guide and a private community with me and other people reading the book. So go pre-order the book now.
[00:27:58] Carrie Lupoli: Share it with a friend as well. [00:28:00] Start a book club, and get yourself moving from corset to crown.
[00:28:08] Carrie Lupoli: Which is why I think, like obviously, the processed food thing, I just feel like we are making good progress in terms of people really understanding. It's like we're not getting bamboozled as much anymore. But there's so many other things out there that just we don't even realize. Like, we literally just had this entire debate in my house because I threw out all of the body wash that we had, but I didn't replace it.
[00:28:31] Carrie Lupoli: And they're like, "You can't just throw out all the body wash without replacing it." And I'm like, "Yes, I'm doing research." And they're like, "Well, what are we supposed to use in the meantime?" So we've had this whole big debate. But as I was going through and, like, researching what do I want to have my, everybody I'm, in my family have, I realized this is hard.
[00:28:47] Carrie Lupoli: Some of this is hard because of false advertising and so many different things that makes it really complicated to be able to figure it out. Like, trying to get my kids off of perfume has been like a nightmare. I finally got my husband [00:29:00] off of cologne. I'm like, "Listen, I don't wanna, I don't wanna smell any cologne.
[00:29:03] Carrie Lupoli: That's not gonna do well for you."
[00:29:05] Warren Phillips: Well, these chemical manufacturers are smart. They have billions of dollars, not millions, but billions of dollars- Right ... to create, c- create chemicals that create sensational addiction, oral addiction, and that's why they're so hard to break. They make them. That's why these, these signature scents are worth so much value because it, it, it spikes dopamine and serotonin.
[00:29:25] Warren Phillips: Right. But they're neurotoxins, they're carcinogenic. They can have hundreds- It
[00:29:28] Carrie Lupoli: makes you feel like you're clean.
[00:29:30] Warren Phillips: Yeah, so but that's not nature, so that's the thing. Fragrances aren't nature. So you, that's one of the best decisions you can make, is get rid of, getting rid of everything that says fragrance or perfume.
[00:29:40] Warren Phillips: And a, a next best step is essential oil, and then you can get better than that when you find essential oils that are actually activating your body's hormonal system correctly because you, if you can use essential oils incorrectly as well. So stick to things like lemon and orange, vetiver, and, you know, some of these basic scents [00:30:00] that you wanna use, and don't get too complex because they, they're like supplements, right?
[00:30:04] Warren Phillips: They're like, they're like foods. They're like herbal medicine. But you wanna make that switch, and most of the aromatics that people use, I think when you get into the MLM space, they start aromatic-ing everything.
[00:30:14] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:30:15] Warren Phillips: That's dangerous and toxic- Yeah ... to your body. Yeah. So there's a choice. We can use something that's a fragrance that's toxic to your body, that is hormone disruptive to your biology, that lowers your frequency, that makes you more dependent Versus a fragrance from a flower connecting you to nature.
[00:30:32] Warren Phillips: Connect- We've
[00:30:32] Carrie Lupoli: gotten so far away from that ...
[00:30:33] Warren Phillips: working in alignment with your biology that's activating the right neuropathways to make you remember that you're part of nature, right? Yep. And you're- Yep ... and you're part of this beautiful system. And then you're like, "Wait a minute, now I respect nature, and I don't wanna trash it," right?
[00:30:48] Warren Phillips: As a human.
[00:30:49] Carrie Lupoli: Right. You, you naturally wanna have those things. But like, when you talk about hormone disruptors, this is what I think especially females need to realize. It's like my daughters, a- and it's a work in progress with them, but it is like a little [00:31:00] bit, are planting seeds. They're getting it. They're looking for better for you kinds of options.
[00:31:04] Carrie Lupoli: But w- their monthly cycles are horrendous. Horrendous. And the amount of infertility that is out there right now are just all really big red flags that tell us, yeah, it might be a little bit harder to go look for some of these things that are not just cheaper and readily accessible, but what's the cost of not making these changes, you know?
[00:31:23] Warren Phillips: Well, we're, I mean, we're in a, we're in a fertility crisis, and we know it as a nation, and it's a pretty simple problem if you look at it, because of all these toxicities. Yep. Whether it's in our gut, what it's doing to our cells. Yep. The inflammation, the hormone disruption. It's lowering our energy. It's lowering the mitochondrial light that we can produce.
[00:31:42] Warren Phillips: And women are a, the massive light beings because you, during your cycle, you're lighting up. Like, there's all this energy output that takes. You're going through essentially an internal ceremony every month that used to be aligned with the moon. It's not as much anymore. My girl, both my [00:32:00] wife and daughter are currently on it.
[00:32:01] Warren Phillips: Mm-hmm. On the moon cycle, which is, which is kinda cool. My wife's older. Amazing. So hers are shortening. But my daughter- Yeah ... is right on with the moon, and their cycles are lining up currently. But if they have enough energy, right, in your body to go through that beautiful cocooning process, that ceremony that's supposed to be beautiful, right, and amazing, yet we turn it into a disease and we say, "Don't have it so we can have sex or be, so you don't have acne."
[00:32:25] Warren Phillips: I mean, that is not working with your biology. That's the... Like, I can talk about toxicity all day. I can, you can go to Non-Toxic Dad- Yeah ... and watch the video. It's there on how to properly wash your fruits and vegetables- Right ... the most economic way, and which ones to wash and why, and what you should use.
[00:32:40] Warren Phillips: And yeah, use water on your lettuce because it works better than vinegar and baking soda. Great. But what at a foundational level is the belief structure that's locking us into dumb thoughts. It's allowing these outside people, typically- You know, at least it used to be [00:33:00] w- foundationally a bunch of white men who didn't know how to write books for women, how to write books for proper childbirth, and create these medical systems that drove economics and fear and control, right?
[00:33:12] Warren Phillips: And this is what the world doesn't, there's some people who don't wanna hear this message, and that's okay. Yeah. But it's the only way we're gonna cocoon. It's the only way that b- your listeners are gonna say, "Holy shit, non-toxic dad gets it," right? Yes. They already got it. Some of your followers already know this way more than I do.
[00:33:29] Warren Phillips: They're like, "Finally." Mm-hmm. You know? Another one gets it. Non-toxic dad is getting it. Thank God he's on our side. He's gonna be with us. We're gonna start a farm together someday maybe. Who knows?
[00:33:41] Carrie Lupoli: One big farm. But you know, you make a really good point. It's like when the entire society basically says, "Here, take this so you can stop your natural cycle so you don't have acne anymore, or so that you don't have such heavy periods," instead of actually getting to the place where we need to [00:34:00] be thinking about, like are we living m- the mo- the healthiest version of ourselves, the most natural way that we can live?
[00:34:07] Carrie Lupoli: And there's just so many disruptors, and I think that's where people can get overwhelmed, but why your message is so important, Warren, because people can binge you, right? And learn all sorts of things, and then it can be like, "Well, oh my gosh. I can't do anything. I can't have anything." And that's always been a fear of yours with your message, but your bigger message is saying like, "I wanna educate people, but you gotta go at this at a pace and an understanding that brings you to who you are."
[00:34:33] Carrie Lupoli: Like, it, it makes it so much easier to make decisions based on whether or not you're gonna go with the cheap option or the harder to find option when it's really important to your identity.
[00:34:43] Warren Phillips: Yep, I'll even make it simpler for your audience.
[00:34:45] Carrie Lupoli: Okay.
[00:34:45] Warren Phillips: Watch my videos. Yeah. And if you feel it, like if you're feeling it in that moment like, "Wow," like that hit.
[00:34:51] Warren Phillips: Yes. "I feel I wanna do that," listen to your biology, and it knows what it needs to do. Yep. So it's that smart. And so do those things, and [00:35:00] if, if you're not feeling it, don't do it. The energy of fighting it and being miserable about it, like great, you know? And, and over time you'll just get better, right? And say you're still doing Botox, I don't care.
[00:35:11] Warren Phillips: It's not the end of your world. You're tough. You can handle it. But if you're doing 75% of everything else, right? Sure, you can handle that. Actually, your body can handle it, right? It'll figure it out. It'll, it'll work through it. It'll adapt, right? But it's when we're not work- when we give up and, and essentially give up our power to the system that's telling us who we should be and what we should do and what we should look like and how we should feel.
[00:35:36] Warren Phillips: No, you know how you should feel. Yes. You know what feels right. Listen.
[00:35:40] Carrie Lupoli: And you, you know what your next step is. I remember when you did this, such a silly, silly example, but, like, I think I watched something about Lululemons about the same time I watched about, like, Scrub Daddy and sponges and, like, throwing them in your dishwasher, which I used to always do, and then like, oh my gosh.
[00:35:58] Carrie Lupoli: And so I was like, okay, I [00:36:00] can't talk about my Lululemons right now. I can, I can get rid of my Scrub Daddy.
[00:36:04] Warren Phillips: Yeah.
[00:36:04] Carrie Lupoli: Right? And it was like that one little thing that then the ceiling becomes the floor, and then you keep moving on to the next thing. Yeah. Because-
[00:36:10] Warren Phillips: Move
[00:36:10] Carrie Lupoli: the
[00:36:10] Warren Phillips: natural things. Just get, get things closer.
[00:36:13] Warren Phillips: Get a loofah. Like, it's not gonna- Yeah ... shed toxic chemicals on your dishes. Right. It doesn't have hormone disruptors. Right. It doesn't grow. It's not n- loofahs were meant, they're an- naturally antimicrobial. It's
[00:36:24] Carrie Lupoli: a, yeah.
[00:36:24] Warren Phillips: These sponges- Per square centimeter, it's like, uh, it's millions of bacteria, and you're creating an environment that's not natural.
[00:36:32] Warren Phillips: So you're, you're creating all these bacteria. Now your immune system has to work harder, which it can handle because a lot of us are using these things, and we're, we're surviving just fine. But it's wasting your, your resources. It's wasting your light.
[00:36:45] Carrie Lupoli: But I would actually argue I don't think we're surviving just fine because- Oh, yeah
[00:36:50] Carrie Lupoli: I do think this is, like we have to make some changes. We have to. We're
[00:36:53] Warren Phillips: surviving, not fine. We're surviving.
[00:36:54] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah. Yeah. It just like we're just- You're, you're tough.
[00:36:57] Warren Phillips: Our bodies are tough.
[00:36:58] Carrie Lupoli: And they're [00:37:00] forgiving, but if we, we actually have to start to do something different if we really wanna get something different.
[00:37:05] Carrie Lupoli: Okay. But I have a question for you that you and I did not talk about before, but, you know, recently it came out that Bryan Johnson, Mr. Like I'm Gonna Live Forever man, has autoimmune. Have you heard this?
[00:37:16] Warren Phillips: Yeah, yeah, I've heard it. I didn't- Okay ... I haven't studied it, him, 'cause I don't jump on- I,
[00:37:19] Carrie Lupoli: I haven't either.
[00:37:19] Carrie Lupoli: I, I mean, I haven't dug a deep dive into it, but- This'll be cool ... just knowing what you know about all the toxins in our environment, and to your point around all the levels of like supplements that we kind of do, 'cause he's one that takes, you know, literally hundreds and hundreds of supplements every day.
[00:37:37] Carrie Lupoli: Do you feel like toxins in our environment are getting all of us? Like I, I don't know what he does- No, I, I don't. I think they're getting- ... with regards to the types of things we talk about ... I think they're getting most of,
[00:37:47] Warren Phillips: they're getting most of us in America, right?
[00:37:49] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah.
[00:37:50] Warren Phillips: And here's where I think Bryan Johnson is getting it wrong.
[00:37:52] Warren Phillips: He's looking once again to control nature.
[00:37:55] Carrie Lupoli: Yes.
[00:37:56] Warren Phillips: And, and his body is nature, right? And so he's putting all these [00:38:00] outside things, blood cleansing, which your body has tons of pathways to do. So instead of working with his biology, he's forcing and pushing his biology in certain directions. And in that, that can cause disease, right, and dysfunction.
[00:38:14] Warren Phillips: In his, in his pursuit of the most productive farm, he killed his soil, right? And he likely killed his gut microbiome, which is likely is what triggered his autoimmune disease because he, he, he wasn't taking care of his garden. He was pushing and doing things, and it killed his garden. He has bad soil. He could reverse his autoimmune condition.
[00:38:35] Warren Phillips: For sure. And it's just lots of these peptides that reverse autoimmune conditions. But- he, he has to realize that he is biology, that he's, his biology is way more intelligent than his biohacking interventions, and overdoing it and pushing too hard has gone against nature, and now nature is giving him a symptom and a sign that it's not gonna end well for him, right?
[00:38:57] Warren Phillips: Right. He's not gonna live- Right ... his best [00:39:00] life. And so- Right ... but that's what happens when we have money, right? We, we just like, "Oh, I can afford all these peptides and all these, these surgeries and all this stuff. I'm gonna live forever." And there's this massive movement in longevity, but it's grounded and rooted in ego, right?
[00:39:15] Warren Phillips: Right. It's grounded and rooted-
[00:39:16] Carrie Lupoli: That's of course it. Yeah. I did a whole podcast on longevity being the new diet.
[00:39:19] Warren Phillips: Yeah. It's, it's- It's
[00:39:20] Carrie Lupoli: a monoculture,
[00:39:21] Warren Phillips: you know? ... grounded and rooted in ego. And that's okay. Like, I'm not judging it. That could be me. I, I'm just thankful that I'm connected. I'm just thankful that I can, you know, take my product and give it to a scientist and say, "Hey, if this doesn't work, I'll stop selling it."
[00:39:33] Warren Phillips: Like- Yeah ... but that, I'm just thankful that's where I'm at, Carrie. Like, I don't expect- Exactly ... Bryan Johnson to be there, because guess what? Bryan Johnson is getting taught. He's getting a beautiful lesson, and it took me till 48 to get to where I'm at, and I'm, and I don't know anything, and Bryan's still trying to figure it out through these outside ways.
[00:39:51] Warren Phillips: But I guarantee you, there's bells going off inside of his brain, and there's people are gonna surround him, and he's gonna be more open-
[00:39:58] Carrie Lupoli: Mm-hmm ...
[00:39:58] Warren Phillips: to maybe some shifts [00:40:00] in his life because he realized this didn't work this way.
[00:40:02] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah.
[00:40:02] Warren Phillips: It- He had to make those decisions-
[00:40:04] Carrie Lupoli: Wow ...
[00:40:05] Warren Phillips: ultimately to get to where he's at, to where he may be m- more open, more curious.
[00:40:09] Warren Phillips: Maybe he was barking up the wrong tree when he should've been freaking hugging it, is what he should've been doing, and realize- What- ... that the studies-
[00:40:15] Carrie Lupoli: That is so good.
[00:40:16] Warren Phillips: Yeah, that was a good analogy.
[00:40:18] Carrie Lupoli: That was really, really, really good.
[00:40:19] Warren Phillips: But I'm telling you, if g- the science is clear when we get grounded and reconnected to the magnetic field of the planet, what it does for your body.
[00:40:28] Warren Phillips: Man, if you go sp- if you spend three days in nature, three days in nature, just three days, you and nature, on that third day, your body lights up, and the science proves it. A 70% increase in your immune system, your natural killer cells, and that's why it's cancer reversing, just spending time in nature, right?
[00:40:46] Warren Phillips: And, and other things, other things happen. Stem cell production goes up. You anti-age just by spending time in nature, 'cause that's where we're meant to be.
[00:40:54] Carrie Lupoli: Yes. Yes.
[00:40:55] Warren Phillips: The bugs, the earth, the ground, the sounds, the smells. The, the, the connection to [00:41:00] nature. We're, we're part of freaking nature, but instead, and this is the point, guys, we throw ourselves in a house where the sunshine can't get through and drive our mitochondria and drive the electron transport chain because we're low E glass windows.
[00:41:13] Warren Phillips: You know, we're not grounded. We're full of all these, all these negative frequencies, and you wanna thrive?
[00:41:18] Carrie Lupoli: Right.
[00:41:18] Warren Phillips: Well, you can't out peptide, you know, or you can't Bryan Johnson your way into health. You have to experience nature. Your biology is nature. You are nature. Don't be afraid of it. It's not, it's not the Antichrist, guide- guys.
[00:41:31] Warren Phillips: It is Christ, if you will, if you're a Christian. It is the living life force that's within you. Embrace it. Get more into it. Go-- And you don't have to spend money to go outside. Right. You don't have to spend money to believe in yourself and make a better decision, right? Right. And, and to stop doing insanity, right?
[00:41:49] Warren Phillips: It's, it's insanity. We, ugh, it's just insane. I just- It's
[00:41:52] Carrie Lupoli: funny, the, the, the- I can't run it for you ... the market
[00:41:54] Warren Phillips: You know?
[00:41:54] Carrie Lupoli: The market on grounding sheets and grounding pads, and I'm like, "Please just go outside."
[00:41:59] Warren Phillips: Oh, and, and [00:42:00] by
[00:42:00] Carrie Lupoli: the way- Just put your feet on the ground ... they're
[00:42:01] Warren Phillips: all, they're all gimmicks, because- Yeah
[00:42:03] Warren Phillips: if you're grounding in a dirty electric field in your home, you're actually doing more damage than good. And so these companies are preying on your fear. Same thing with parasite cleanses, guys. Oh my gosh, they're preying on your fear.
[00:42:15] Carrie Lupoli: Yep.
[00:42:15] Warren Phillips: You're, they're killing your microbiome, your microbiology, the very things.
[00:42:19] Warren Phillips: It's very rare that you would need to do a parasite cleanse. Mm-hmm. There is a time and a place for it, and, and maybe it needs to be a medication in that instance,
[00:42:27] Carrie Lupoli: but- But that would require them to know, doctors to know what they're talking about when it comes to that.
[00:42:30] Warren Phillips: Yeah, I mean, and here's, and I taught functional medicine for 18 years to practitioners, and I, I wouldn't believe half the shit that I said.
[00:42:39] Warren Phillips: Because I was supplementing, I was doing all that stuff, I was running all the tests. And I think it's helpful, and I, I still recommend it, I still do it. But we're not so smart, right? We act like these doctors and, and functional medicine doctors, like we have all the answers. And I'm not a functional medicine doctor, by the way.
[00:42:55] Warren Phillips: I'm just, I'm just- Right ... Non-Toxic Dad, preaching a message of healing and [00:43:00] hope, and that your life can absolutely transform. Not, I'm just not, you know, testimony to it. Carrie, you're not. But millions of other people are making the same decisions to choose, to reconnect, to remember who they are, and empower themselves to make great decisions.
[00:43:15] Warren Phillips: But in the end, you can't just be pushing on your body. No, exactly. You have to allow it to do the right thing on its own, and to work with your biology. You have to respect this thing.
[00:43:25] Carrie Lupoli: Yes.
[00:43:25] Warren Phillips: Right? It is the intelligence. Respect it, work with it. Yep. Don't push on it so hard. Don't push on it hard and with workouts.
[00:43:32] Warren Phillips: Don't push on it too much with peptides. Don't push on it too much with exercise. Don't push on it too much with a strict diet. Don't push on it. Work with it, respect it. It is beautiful, kind, it wants to serve you. And, and once you get that spirit-body alignment going, and get in quiet meditation, man, you get into that balance with nature, and life gets really freaking awesome.
[00:43:53] Carrie Lupoli: And- It really does. And I want- But it is a daily act. It's not, like we said over and over again, you're never there. [00:44:00] It's always striving to continue to build your blueprint on the healthiest version of you, and what you do, say, think, and believe.
[00:44:07] Warren Phillips: Amen.
[00:44:07] Carrie Lupoli: Your insight in this, Warren, is exactly what I wanted everybody to hear, because you and I had such an amazing conversation when we were together, and I realized, like, you go so much deeper than simple, like, "Don't buy this, buy this," right?
[00:44:22] Carrie Lupoli: Like, those things are important, but why, and who, and what we want really truly out of life has to do with truly grounding yourself in identity and nature, biology. We are all, we aren't broken, to your point. We just have to be freed in a lot of ways, and we have been just sucked in to the culture of these toxic thinking, toxic living, toxic stuff.
[00:44:48] Carrie Lupoli: And you're opening our eyes to all of it.
[00:44:50] Warren Phillips: Yeah, and a- again, I, I apologize if something I said was offensive. I didn't mean it. Um-
[00:44:57] Carrie Lupoli: I don't think anything you said was offensive ...
[00:44:59] Warren Phillips: I [00:45:00] only say that because I don't want... I want them to know that I, I really deeply care, and I'm excited about this information.
[00:45:08] Warren Phillips: It's, it's a really good time to share it because I'm going through it, I'm working through it. And- Yeah ... I'm, I'm not here to say that I got it all figured out, but there's something beautiful in the things that I said, and there are a lot of really good things I believe that can plant good seeds inside of you.
[00:45:22] Warren Phillips: So find those things. Ignore the things that didn't resonate, that didn't feel right for you, because what feels right for you doesn't feel right for me, right? If I go somewhere and they could be the most kindest, most wonderful person, and 90% of what they said I'm like, "Oh my gosh, that is wacky." It doesn't mean they're wacky, it means it's wacky for me right now,
[00:45:43] Carrie Lupoli: right?
[00:45:43] Carrie Lupoli: Right, and what you're thinking about.
[00:45:45] Warren Phillips: Yeah, and what I'm thinking about. So find the beautiful seeds, the flowers, the, the sounds, the scents, the heart that connected with you, and take those things and plant them and water those and s- and, and, and think about those when you're sleeping tonight and [00:46:00] as you're meditating and, and say, "What the heck was this guy talking about?"
[00:46:03] Warren Phillips: And, and, and see what comes up. See what other things are gonna show up in your life that are gonna help water that. And the, the, the really cool thing is what I feel like, I just wanna say what I feel, I think there's a lot of women that are already there, and I'm just encouraging them.
[00:46:19] Carrie Lupoli: Yeah,
[00:46:19] Warren Phillips: I agree. They, they know, they know the things that I'm saying are true because of their life experience.
[00:46:24] Warren Phillips: Yeah. And your life experience has massive value. Don't let a medical diagnosis, don't let someone else tell you who you are, a medical doctor, whatever it is. Get multiple opinions because you know who you are, right? Trust that. You don't need someone else to tell you why you're sick, right? Get... Ask multiple people.
[00:46:44] Warren Phillips: Get lots of information. Get curious about where you're at. Don't... It's not what I say. It's not what Carrie says. It's what you're gonna feel and experience through your life experience. You have value. You've lived this life. No one's lived in your body, which is [00:47:00] stinking unique. There's not... Even though, here's the thing.
[00:47:03] Warren Phillips: Here's another, I'll drop this mind-blowing thought. Your DNA is about the same between a flea and a fly, right? The complexity. We're a- we're actually some of the, our DNA is some of the least complex of all- creation, right? Totally. So we have this, but within us, this microbiology, all this other intelligence inside of us which makes us so complex and beautiful.
[00:47:28] Warren Phillips: It makes us this very unique species that we have potentially- Free
[00:47:31] Carrie Lupoli: will
[00:47:32] Warren Phillips: and opinions ... yeah, a coding of, of creation right inside of us. Mm-hmm. And this isn't, we're not gods by any means, right? But we're, we're part of a beautiful process, and we have the honor and privilege to live an amazing life inside of this.
[00:47:47] Warren Phillips: And I guess the point of what I'm saying is you're not a dove. You don't look like a, like doves and cats. Like, like we're fucking unique. And, and that's because of our microbiology, which is our own fingerprint. It's because of all this [00:48:00] complexity. And just don't put things on it to kill it. You know, the dyes in Textiles kill your microbiome in your skin and ruin your skin, the little oil-producing factories.
[00:48:09] Warren Phillips: Like, you can't put these chemicals... A 30% of a weight of a shirt can be chemical. Finishes, fixers, things that, guess what? That they test in test groups so it feels nice and soft. Yeah. All these chemicals, these fi- finishes and silicones and... But it, your, your, your, even your, your cotton shirt can be full of, of toxins that are shutting down the very microbiology that you are.
[00:48:31] Warren Phillips: You are nature. Make decisions that help support that nature, and don't take away from it. Disconnect from toxicity, reconnect your biology. That's, that's the simple message, Carrie.
[00:48:42] Carrie Lupoli: It is so, so, so powerful. I love this conversation. It's like a whole 'nother side of Non-Toxic Dad that we don't get to see on the Instagram.
[00:48:51] Carrie Lupoli: Let's tell everybody where they can find you, and you have a podcast as well that d- where you really do dive deeper into a lot of this stuff. So tell everybody where they can [00:49:00] find you.
[00:49:00] Warren Phillips: Yeah, that's where we go, where the antenna goes wide and we go big-
[00:49:04] Carrie Lupoli: Right ...
[00:49:04] Warren Phillips: is, is on podcasts like yours and on my own, which is Non-Toxic Living Podcast.
[00:49:08] Warren Phillips: But you can find it YouTube, Non-Toxic Dad, Instagram, Non-Toxic Dad, TikTok, Non-Toxic, but Dad, Facebook, Non-Toxic Dad, backslash Non-Toxic Dad, and nontoxicdad.com. All roads lead to-
[00:49:20] Carrie Lupoli: Non-Toxic Dad. Yeah. I love it. You are just like a breath of fresh air, especially being able to bring a man on this show to be able to talk through Corset and Crown.
[00:49:31] Carrie Lupoli: Like, you're an expert in understanding it. I love it so, so much. Thank you for being here. And
[00:49:37] Warren Phillips: your book is amazing, by the way. Like, a lot of people write books with AI. You wrote that one with your heart. Oh,
[00:49:42] Carrie Lupoli: yeah.
[00:49:43] Warren Phillips: And- There's
[00:49:43] Carrie Lupoli: no-
[00:49:44] Warren Phillips: And- ...
[00:49:44] Carrie Lupoli: no AI in that one.
[00:49:45] Warren Phillips: I can tell. The information is so transformative from the beginning of the book.
[00:49:50] Warren Phillips: It just hooks you right in and just delivers more val- It's like, you know the album you would pick up, like, when the first, the, the, one of the Guns N' Roses albums, like, you know, or the Metallica album, you know, or-
[00:49:59] Carrie Lupoli: [00:50:00] Yeah ...
[00:50:00] Warren Phillips: um, I can go on and on, but those albums, like every song was good on the album. That's what it's like reading your book.
[00:50:06] Warren Phillips: Like, every part of that book is delivering value and setting people free, and it's the space between your words, Carrie. It's not just the actionable things that you can do. It's the heart-centered, um, uh, hope and healing and energy that you put in there 'cause you can feel it. It's not lifeless. It's not artificial intelligence, right?
[00:50:26] Warren Phillips: Yeah. It's not AI. It's biological intelligence through your lens, through your beautiful lens that's flowing through you from God, and I appreciate you for that and everyone that, uh, uh, that's part of your community. You're all shining brightly.
[00:50:41] Carrie Lupoli: Ah, thank you so much for that. Means so much coming from you.
[00:50:44] Carrie Lupoli: You have a very high standard of what you would support, and so supporting that and sharing that really means a lot to me. Thank you so much for being here. I know this is gonna be a light for so many people, and you just, you know, like it says in the Bible, you just can't put a light underneath [00:51:00] anything.
[00:51:00] Carrie Lupoli: You need to let it shine through, and you did that today in a whole new way than we're used to seeing from you. So thank you, thank you, thank you.
[00:51:06] Warren Phillips: Pleasure.
[00:51:06] Carrie Lupoli: And remember, if you need to straighten your crown, just go ahead and do that, and also make sure you're straightening someone else's while you're at it.
[00:51:14] Carrie Lupoli: We'll talk to you next time. Thanks.
